THE FOUNDER: MICHELE FRUTTERO<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“<\/em>Seventy years ago a butcher came into our carpentry shop: he wanted a butcher block for his shop. Some time later another butcher came in, impressed by the product he had seen from his colleague….<\/span><\/p>\n

That’s how I realised it was a \u2018must do\u2019 job. I always perfected it, I went so far as to make a butcher block connected internally with tie rods, which then became a single block. Then I started doing fairs. After the first fair, I\u2019ve never run out of work.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 1952 my company was born. I always believed in my product and, with passion, I made it and then patented it; now it is among the best on the market. But every day we go into the laboratory with the ambition to make it even better.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The story of Mej is inevitably linked to the story of a family, the Fruttero family, and its way of understanding life and relationships, with others and with nature.
